Elena Burykina

Lives in Chattanooga

Elena Burykina was born in Ulan-Ude, a city in the Russian Far East Region. Her family later moved to Ukraine where she received professional training in art and architecture. She completed art school in the city of Dnipropetrovsk, and received a bachelor degree and a graduate degree in architecture from the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Elena’s training in architecture included classical study in drawing and painting. After a 15-year career in architecture, she turned her full attention to painting in 2012.

“My thoughts and emotions come to life on canvas as realistic images and abstract forms. My style of work depends on the theme, genre, and emotional presence.”

Elena’s works are held in private collection the United States, Germany, Spain, Russia, Ukraine, and Serbia.”
